TORNADO DAYS!!!
Join us for this year's annual TORNADO DAYS celebration,
which commemorates the town's rebirth after the 1970
tornado. This year's event will be held on July 20 -
22, with many activities, music and entertainment for the
whole family.

COMMUNITY PICNICS!!
Faith Lutheran Church will be sponsoring a Community
Picnic on Thursday, July 12th, at 6 pm, rain or shine, at
the church, located at 310 County Road 14. The church
will provide the food. Everyone is welcome. A
free will offering will be collected, with the proceeds
designated for the Miltona Community Center. Another
picnic date for the summer is set for August

VACATION SCHOOL
The Faith Lutheran Church will hold their
Vacation Bible School on July 23 - 28, from 6:15 p.m. to
8:00 pm, at the church, located at 310 County Road 14, in
Miltona. The theme is "Galilee by the Sea". Kids
age 3 through 6th grade, from all around the area are

PONTOON CRUISE ON LAKE MILTONA
The Fifth Annual "Pontoon Cruise on Lake Miltona" for
Miltona area Senior Citizens will be held on Tuesday, July
17th, from 3:30 to 5:00 pm. This "Good Neighbor Event"
is sponsored by the Faith Lutheran Church Outreach
Committee. The pontoons will be departing from the
East Public Access of Lake Miltona at 3:30 pm.
Refreshments will be served on board. For more

Miltona City Meetings
Regular City Council Meeting - 2nd Wednesday of the month, 7
pm at City Hall
Golden Age Potluck and Meeting
The Golden Age is a meeting of senior citizens from Spruce
Hill township and the surrounding area. They meet
three times a year, with a spring meeting in April at the
Rose City Church, a picnic in July at the Spruce Hill County
Park, and a December meeting at the Rose City Church.
